Again, I doubt there's much need for explanation here.
Those sorry expressions really sum up how I often feel about Total Drama now, and even more how I feel about the treatment of these two characters in particular over the seasons.
Say what you will about them, but Holy Christ............They just never seem to catch a break. In a cast of now up to 50 people, these two just never ever catch a break. Exploited to the nth degree, flanderized and derailed on multiple occasions, all the fun of watching them just sucked out every chance they get to shine.....
As one famous internet celebrity once wailed:
"Leave Gwen and Courtney ALONE!"
Indeed. Just leave 'em alone, writers. Lay off these two and get them back to their old selves. Their Island selves. When everything was awesome. Thank you.
(NOTE: The fact that I used the Chris Crocker meme is not meant to suggest I ever had a similar breakdown over anything discussed here, but for the purposes of this demotivational, it seemed like an appropriate place to revisit this meme. I'm sure Mr. Crocker is a swell guy and I reserve my right to continue popular memetic mutations.)
